Born from the passion of its founders, Lucchi and Guastalli is the first company to boast the RIVIERA LIGURE Protected Designation of Origin and the first Ligurian to win, with DOP EVO oil, the Ercole Olivario, the most coveted olive oil award at national level, .

30 hectares of olive groves and vineyards, on terraced hillsides, divided into several lots in the municipalities of Santo Stefano di Magra, Vezzano Ligure and Riomaggiore.

Only quality and certified productions: olives and DOP Riviera Ligure oil, honey from the 5 Terre, DOC and IGT wines from Lunigiana, Colli di Luni and Liguria di Levante.

Firmly rooted in the territory and at the same time dynamic, modern and innovative in its DNA, it adopts techniques with a low environmental impact, which preserve the environment and the health of bees.

Cultural and educational activities, guided visits to the vineyards and olive groves and the production plant, conducted by Marco Lucchi, Doctor Agronomist, expert taster and panel leader of the APOL Liguria tasting committee.

Our History

1992

THE FOUNDATION

Frantoio Lucchi e Guastalli was founded by Carlo Guastalli, agro-technician, and Marco Lucchi, agronomist, graduate of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, expert technician in the olive and oil sector, Panel leader and oil taster.

1998

DOP RIVIERA LIGURE

Lucchi e Guastalli oil is the first ever to be certified DOP Riviera Ligure – Riviera di Levante

1998 - 1999

LUIGI VERONELLI

Lucchi e Guastalli oil is tested by the “Luigi Veronelli Permanent Seminar” and reviewed in the magazine “Il Consenso”.

2002

IOAA ZURICH

Lucchi and Guastalli win the “Goldene Olive” at the International Olive Oil Award in Zurich. The company was also awarded in 2003, 2006 and 2011.

2003 - 2022

ERCOULE OLIVARIO

Lucchi e Guastalli is the first company ever to win the Ercole Olivario National Competition in 2004 with DOP Riviera Ligure oil. The company today collects fifteen participations in the final phase, representing the Liguria Region, the last in 2022

2007

TWO PHASES

Lucchi e Guastalli is the first company in Liguria that adopts BIFASE technology, minimizing water consumption and maximizing the content of natural antioxidants in Liguria

2008

PANEL LEADER

Marco Lucchi acquires the title of Panel Leader, and coordinates the oil tasting group of APOL in Genoa.

2008 - 2010

DER FEINCHMECKER

The prestigious German magazine “Der Feinchmecker” reports Lucchi and Guastalli oils among the best oils in the world.

2008 - 2019

LEIVI AWARD

Lucchi e Guastalli twice wins first prize at the Leivi Prize (Genoa); to date, the company ranks 7 times among the top three oils.
2010

GREEN ECONOMY

Lucchi e Guastalli is the first company in Liguria that operates without the production of olive oil wastes, generating biomass from which renewable energy is obtained. It is the first ECO MILL in Liguria
2018

AMAGI SOIL SURVEY - WORKSHOP OIL

Lucchi e Guastalli oil is selected as the favorite of Italian families in a market survey conducted for Luigi Caricato’s “Olio Officina” magazine

2020

HONEY AND WINE

Lucchi and Guastalli starts the production of honey from the 5 Terre and wines from native Lunigiana vines
